NSW Mining Environment and Community Conference wants your stories

The NSW Minerals Council is looking for people working in the resources sector to share their stories, both good and bad, about mining-related environment and/or community activities at their upcoming NSW Mining Environment & Community Conference.

The conference will be held from 24-26 August at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley.

Submissions are now open for anyone interested in presenting a paper at the conference. Just tell NSW Mining about your paper proposal in 500 words or less using the  form on the website by 9 May and the best ideas will be selected to present at the conference.

Environment & Community Excellence Award entries open.

Entries are also now open for the NSW Mining Environment & Community Excellence Awards showcasing innovation and commitment to leading practice in environmental management and community engagement in resources.

If your workplace has a great new system, technological application or initiative that deserves to be recognised, get your nomination in using the simple form on the website by 9 May. The finalists will be announced ahead of the conference.
