SA’s top mining conference happening next week

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe South Australian Exploration and Mining Conference (SAEMC) will be held on Thursday 28 November at the Adelaide Convention Centre, bringing together a host of  key mining and
exploration projects for an overview of the sector’s developments, and the opportunity for all stakeholders to celebrate the activities of the year.

Representatives from Arrium, BHP Billiton, OZ Minerals, Heathgate Resources, IMX Resources, Investigator Resources, Iron Road, Rex Minerals and many more will be present at the event. The full program is available on the website www.saexp.com.au.

The  event will be officially opened by the Minster for Mineral Resources and Energy, the
Hon Tom Koutsantonis MP.

SACOME’s Chief Executive, Jason Kuchel, said this year’s SAEMC will continue its tradition of
providing delegates with an unsurpassed opportunity to hear firsthand about projects from those
directly involved.

“The conference is a fantastic opportunity for delegates to obtain a comprehensive review of the
diverse activities occurring across South Australia, and presents a platform to share ideas to
collectively improve the State’s mining developments,” he said.

“The tenth celebration of the SAEMC demonstrates just how important the exploration and mining
sectors are to the State, with the ever-increasing popularity of the conference reflecting the growth
in this sector across the decade.”

Kevin Wills, Chair of the organising committee, said,“This year’s conference is tipped as the best program we have put together yet, comprising 23 presentations from a range of the State’s explorers and miners.”

“The 2013 event will also include a presentation reflecting on the first ten years of the conference.”
