Wheatstone food quality slammed on social media

Images posted anonymously on a FIFO Facebook page.

Chevron’s Wheatstone LNG Project has come under fire on social media, with workers posting images of food served up with a side of insects.

On the Facebook page, FIFO Construction Workers 3/1 Forum, a number of anonymous images were posted – all regarding food served to workers at the Wheatstone project.

One image included a maggot in a piece of broccoli, another two spotted insects in their meals, and a final image saw a worker spot a plastic ring on his plate.

Chevron has been contacted for comment in regards to food quality at their sites.
