Greatland Gold Panorama project: New licence application

Greatland expands Panorama project with third exploration licence application

Greatland Gold plc (LON:GGP), the precious and base metals exploration and development Company, is pleased to announce that it has received notification from the Western Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (“DMIRS”) that it won a government conducted ballot in regards to the Company’s application for licence E46/1170. Consequently, Greatland’s application for E46/1170 has preference and DMIRS has recommended the licence be granted to the Company.

The new licence application E46/1170 covers an area of approximately 25 square kilometres and sits adjacent to both of Greatland’s existing Panorama project licences, E45/4936 (granted) and E46/1166 (application). The new licence expands Greatland’s total licence area, including granted licence and applications, to 155 square kilometres.

Greatland’s first exploration campaign at Panorama (see announcement dated 21 December 2017) highlighted the presence of several gold anomalies within the southern licence (E46/1166) and confirmed the potential for a high grade zone of gold mineralisation, approximately 3.2 kilometres long, in the northern licence (E45/4936).

Gervaise Heddle, Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We are very pleased to expand our footprint in the Pilbara region and to consolidate the ground adjacent to our existing licences. We look forward to providing an update regarding our exploration plans at Panorama once we complete a full technical review of the new licence area.”

An updated licence area map for the Panorama project will be made available on the Company’s website within the next few business days.

Additional information on the Panorama project can be found on the Company web site at www.greatlandgold.com/projects.
