The South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy announced today nominations for the 2016 South Australian Women in Resources Awards will open on Monday, January 18.
These awards recognise the important role women play in the resources sector through five key categories:
• Exceptional woman in South Australian resources
• Gender Diversity Champion in South Australian resources
• Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance
• Outstanding South Australian tradeswomen, operator or technician
• Exceptional young woman in South Australian resources
Nominations close at 5pm on Friday, March 4, with winners to be announced at SACOME’s Lunch Series event on Thursday, May 19.
