A mining services company is rewarding employees with extra money based on performance.
Thiess offered to regularly pay all new and current workers up to $4000 in half yearly performance and coal target bonuses at Jellinbah Group’s Lake Vermont Coal Mine in Dysart, 246km southwest of Mackay.
The company also offered an extra $5000 bonus for every successful applicant who refers a friend, and he or she also secures work for the same business.

- excavator operators (multiple)
- grader operators (multiple)
- dozer operators (multiple)
- truck operators (multiple)
- drillers (multiple).

Living out of camp allowance, salary sacrificed flights and other employee benefits are available. A company paid bus service runs between Mackay, Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
