NSW Mines Rescue To Appear On Foxtel’s The Dinner Project

NSW Mines Rescue To Appear On Foxtel's The Dinner ProjectNSW Mines Rescue are set to appear on Foxtel’s LifeStyle FOOD channels The Dinner Project starring Hayden Quinn.

Episode five, featuring Newcastle Mines Rescue Training Officer, Chris Clifford, will premiere on Sunday, 30 November 2014 at 7.00pm.

Show host Hayden spent time with Chris at the Newcastle Mines Rescue Station learning about emergency response and participating in an underground firefighting training scenario. This gave him valuable insight into the NSW coal mining industry, the role of Mines Rescue and the critical service it provides to workers.

Hayden then spent time transforming Chris’s cooking skills in his home which he shares with his wife Cath and two boys, Ben and Isaac.

Chris puts some of his new culinary skills to the test, inviting to dinner a mentor and active Brigadesman from the NSW coal industry. His guest has just celebrated 25 years service with Mines Rescue. Chris himself has over 10 years of service as a Brigadesman.

Tune into Foxtel’s LifeStyle FOOD Channel on Sunday 30 November at 7pm to watch Chris’s work in the kitchen!
