A multinational resources company will fully train, qualify, pay and transport jobseekers who want to work in Central Queensland’s Isaac region.
BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is hiring multiple operator-maintainer trainees at the Daunia Coal Mine in Coppabella, 175km southwest of Mackay.
BMA is offering two year traineeships that are promised to give candidates a Certificate III in either resource processing, or engineering – mechanical trade – fitting/turning.
Rosters will be seven days on seven days off, and seven nights on seven nights off. Attractive salary packages, performance-based bonuses and an employee share program will be provided. Fly-in fly-out flights via Brisbane or Cairns, and drive-in drive-out options from local areas, are available.
“Expect hands on industry-lead training and mentoring by BMA’s talented workforce, first-rate working conditions, upskilling of your trade qualification to work in mining and a nationally recognised qualification … on successful completion,” the employer said on the Seek website.
